Furniture….. To DIE For.

“Shelves For Life” by London designer William Warren.
I recently saw this on the internet. I have to admit, it’s not new. It was originally launched in 2005 London Design Festival, and it’s quite a stunning idea. When you are alive, it’s a nice bookshelf for your home. When you are gone, it can be reassembled as a coffin, and you can have your name engraved on the brass plate at the bottom.
For only £350.
I am sure this probably won’t become very popular among the Chinese society, but I can certainly say, some furniture is meant to last for a lifetime.
