Interior design is a balance of 4 elements: color, shape, proportion and material. For this 3-bedroom apartment of a young family, it is the perfect harmony of all 4.
Expressing a deep affection for mid-century modern design, a specific hue is featured in each area individually. Nostalgic theme in the living and dining space. Vibrant yellow and green for the boy’s bedroom. Dusty pink and purple for the girl’s bedroom. Retro blue geometry in the kid’s bathroom. Subtle black and gold luxurious touch in the master suite. It injects uniqueness smoothly throughout the space. With a particular emphasis on lines, it is applied widely on panelling, molding, skirting, cabinet details and tile choices, in different proportions visually. As for material choices? Terrazzo, marble, chevron flooring and brass trimming are the obvious no-brainers.
And a little garden on the balcony is certainly a mood booster during magic hour, don’t you agree?
