A minimalistic design style is one thing. A minimalistic lifestyle is quite another. Especially for a family, it’s basically impossible. So starting from a simple contemporary design, we added a dash of flavor to each space. There is a French artist hand-painted feature wall in the living area and kid’s bedrooms. A prominent feature wallpaper in the master bedroom. Patterned wall tiles in the bathrooms, kitchen and TV wall. All matched with subtle yet iconic contemporary designer furniture and lights here and there. In the end, we created a simple yet detailed 3-bedroom apartment for a young family of 4, with a well-balanced allocation of space.
